The chief executive of Newmark Security (LON:NWT), Marie-Claire Dwek, says the company is set to see significant long-term rewards from its investment in new products and markets.
Newmark - which specialises in electronic and physical security – reported an increase in pre-tax profits in the year to 30 April along with a higher cash pile and dividend lift.
However, it warned that profit in the current financial year will be lower than the previous.
“We’re looking at new directions and new products,” said the CEO.
“A new version of SATEON – which is less project driven – will broaden our market reach. We’re already seeing positive feedback and will we carry on growing our presence around the globe.”
