E payments group Equals (LON:EQLS) is to raise £16mln though a placing and open offer to give it some firepower to make acquisitions and accelerate the development of its corporate product.
Healthcare marketing group Cello Health (LON:CLL) has acquired US consultant Innovative Science Solutions for US$6.4mln. ISS specialises in helping firms deal with the US Food and Drug Administration.
Acacia Mining (LON:ACA) has stopped gold production at its North Mara mine in Tanzania. The miner was ordered last month to shut the mine’s tailings facility and though mining will continue, all ore will be stockpiled until the processing facility re-opens.
Clothing group Ted Baker has signed an agreement that will see Next stock its childrenswear range for the next five years. Next will replace Debenhams, whose deal with Ted Baker for children’s clothing will now end next February.
Ultra Electronics has won a US$1bn contract to supply underwater buoys for the United States Navy.
