Full interview: EagleRail Container Logistics forms agreement to solve the Chittagong Port Authority's problems
EagleRail Container Logistics CEO Mike Wychocki tells Proactive the privately-held 5-year old container logistics company has signed a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with officials at the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) in Chattigong, Bangladesh.
Wychocki says the Chicago-based company will perform a technology feasibility study for the port. EagleRail's suspended overhead container movement system lifts containers from ships and shuttles them to local yards or intermodal transportation hubs. This is the second MoU for the company, the first was with the Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) in Gujarat, India.
